As mentioned in our previous communications to our users, as of the last week of November Lunie will no longer be supporting the e-Money network or any of its tokens within the Lunie suite of apps. With that, we’ve created a quick guide for Lunie users to export their e-Money addresses and use them elsewhere without any staking interruptions whatsoever.
What You Need To Do
- e-Money backup code / seed phrase stored correctly.
- If you don’t have your backup code / seed phrase stored correctly, Lunie gives you the option to export your seed phrase from the browser extension. We wrote a detailed explanation of how to do this in our help center.
For more information about how non-custodial wallets work you can refer to our help centre.
Restoring Your e-Money Address In The e-Money Web Wallet
We recommend restoring your Lunie generated seed phrase using the e-Money web wallet paired with the Kepler browser extension available here:
- e-Money Web Wallet - https://wallet.e-money.com/
- Keplr Browser Extension - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keplr/dmkamcknogkgcdfhhbddcghachkejeap
In this use-case, if you have exported your seed phrase from Lunie, you can import it into your Keplr app as it prompts you from the Portfolio screen and begin staking and sending/receiving from the e-Money web app and signing with Keplr.
If you used Lunie as your staking interface for e-Money using a Ledger hardware wallet, you will also use the e-Money Web Wallet as well and choose the Ledger hardware option from the Portfolio screen and follow the prompts.
If you have any questions about Lunie address exporting please feel free to reach out to us directly via our support email. For questions regarding e-Money wallets and their latest functionality we encourage you to check out the official e-Money documentation.
